Tony if I install this incredimail onto my computer will it conflict with Outlook express in any way. I am starting to get very wary of downloading anything onto the computer lately. There is no hurry for an answer either so when you get a chance to let me know would be grateful.

No Les there will be no conflict however you will have to make one email programme the default and that will be the one your mail will go to, if you decide to download Incredimail you will have to import all of the addresses from the other mail programme that you have been using but it is quite easy to do, just open Incredimail, go to File then click Import and you will be given to option what to import and where to import it from ... the option would be like Import from and the name of the mail programme you have been using will be displayed, you just have to click it.

Cheers, Glyn. Sorry I didn’t get back to you yesterday, setting up prepaid broadband and giving basic instruction took longer than expected. Now back to the problem; open Incredimail then open Tools which you will find on the toolbar, in the box that opens click Advanced and make sure the box next to; Associate ‘.eml’ files with Incredimail, as a tick in it ... if it has you should be able to open EML files. Let me know how you get on. Hello Tony, been away for the w/e, so missed your reply until tonight, I've followed your instructions but I think because I am not a premium user of Incredimail, (ie not a subsciber to gold membership) that this facility is denied me, there is no box visible with Associate eml files in the Advance window. Sorry to give you all this grief as I am sure you are busy enough without my problems, if you do find time at some point in the future to solve this it would be appreciated, thanks, Glyn.

Glyn I to downloaded that program and only the basic version. I found the bow in the advance section and ticked it so maybe you will need to reinstall it again. This advice from a true luddite in computers. I am sure that Tony will set you on the right path.

Glyn I am also a Premium user but that has no bearing on the problem. Reading through my previous post I see I have omitted precise directions; click on Tools then click Options now a menu will appear with tabs along the top, the end tab on the right is Advanced and when this opens you will see: Associate ‘.eml’ files with Incredimail ... If there is a tick in the box it should be ok but it is definitely there. Glyn if I can help I feel happy, so don't worry about asking. Cheers Mate.

Followed your instructions to the letter, the box is ticked, but still unable to upload to Poetry & Creative Writing, the file is 42.3kb, not to big, it won't upload as a file or an attachment, so unfortunately awaiting you guideance yet again. Glyn.

Glyn. OK Glyn, If you are attempting to upload the file using the site File Unloader I have no idea what the problem is because that facility is controlled by settings put in place by our server. If you just want to post the piece of poetry the easiest way would be to Cut & Paste it into your post, if you are not familiar with Cut & Paste the following is how you do it: Highlight what you want to upload and when it is highlighted right click on it and in the drop menu you will be given the option to Cut or Copy, click copy. The whole item is now on a virtual clipboard and is available wherever want to put it; now treat as an ordinary post only now right click in the box and in the menu that opens click on paste.Remember when you post something the print used is the default that has been set, i.e. irrespective of what you post it will always come out in the default font. I hope this helps, I’m now most interested in reading the poem!
