She's got a lovely voice Tony. When I first seen her on TV it reminded me of the old adage never to judge the book by the cover.

You're not wrong Gerry, when I first saw her I thought the same as most people, "what a waste this will be" but then she started to sing and it blew me away ... Never judge a book by it's cover, how true that is!

Any opinions on the final results of the talent competition?
From all that I heard on TV today, she will likely end up to be the real financial winner
of the whole exercise; with recording contracts, a biography and even a film of all she has
achieved.

That is not surprising, given the strain of it all. I hope she soon recovers and enjoys a
successful singing career of some sort.

From what a promoter said on TV last night here in Oz is that she was better of coming in second as the winner has to sign a contract that rips them of something awful and by coming in second she can sign up with anyone she wants to and that there are offers coming in for her to go to the states. Apperantly it is noted that nearly all that came in second have gone further than those that won the show simply because of the sh** house contract that they have to sign.

Sorry I cannot agree with you.
I cannot stand her voice,I feel that she is over rated by her promoter's inorder to create a sensation??
