Do not take this the wrong way but the logo will be like signing on a ship. It is not what the ship looks like it is the bloody great crew that is the essence of the site.

you comment is appreciated Les.

the name "Sailors Home" will not change, nor the the crew there is now. as we will be moving from free forums the appearance will be changed a little. this time we will have a choice of how it looks that's all.

please let's have more views. :thumbsupp:

If I recall correctly did not one of the members have a ships design that was proposed a while ago and for some reason I think it was Rik that had done it.

How about having as a design, a ships stern name board one which you see on the old sailing ships, ornate and carved. Maybe one of the girls on that other site you posted might come up with something with a nautical theme.
My old man always told me ,the best ideas are those that are borrowed and adapted for your use. :pirate2:

The design I came up with was this - Image

It's very rough and needs work done on it still. (It looks much better on a dark background than it does on a light one as the image's background is set to transparent).

I'm a bit on the busy side at the moment. The "office" PC has decided to have a problem with a windows update and keeps hanging at mup.sys. I have found a few idea's to try out but they are not working so far.

I have just reset the bios and it's booting up at last. Gonna run a few checks on it and see how it goes.
