Many thanks to "The New York Times Archives" for this Article Tuesday 15 August 1893 Morris Park Cricketers Put up a Good Game Against the Majestic Team --- The Morris Park Cricket Club was determined to defeat the team of the steamship Majestic yesterday at Morris Park, and they took no chances in the match. The sailors. however, put up an excellent game, and, with the good batting of Chief Officer Acheson and the useful contributions of E. Jones and A. Pritchard, looked like winning at one time. The batting of the Morris Parks, however, at the right time told, and good Innings by D. O'Reilly, W. O. Wilkinson, W. H. Rutty, H. O. Wilkinson, and T. J. O'Reilly carried their total 13 runs ahead of the Majestlcs
