What do I call you???,my names Dave Williams,from Llanelli,
went to the Vindi in 1952 then to sea until 1959,sailing mainly
out from Swansea on tankers,but did do a few trips out from
Tilbury and Southampton on the "big boats".I was in catering
and ended as second steward,only came ashore to get married.
Im a member of the Swansea branch of the MNA,and if you go
there I always sit on the right hand side as you enter the back
room .

I am Reg from Bangor ,Co Down. Many years ago, we spent a lot of summer holidays in Llanddodno and Conwy 1946~51 (I was a school boy then) can remember getting trams from Llanddodno to Conwy and there was a cable tram that went up the mountain called the Great Orme --

Never went to Llanelli. I worked on cable ships and land stations in the South Pacific and ended up owning a restaurant.
