Here goes tony, these are some of my models, plus a sketch of a Spitfire Mk IX bearing my own initials, I thought this would be the only way I could own one! The model of 'Old Ironsides' is now berthed in the garage due to lack of space in the house, though it is cased. The aircraft models are/were either electric or i.c. powered, a few do'nt survive! Tony, A couple did'nt post, and it's all a bit jumbled, I think I'm getting there, but I'm still doing something wrong! they seem to be one on top of another! Am I trying to post too many at one time? Jeff

Nice looking models. I think the main trouble with building them is where to display them as they need space to be able to appreciate them.

Great looking models Jeff and well done for posting them.
The only thing you are doing wrong is trying to anticipate where the picture is going to sit on the page, the printed description is being over-lapped by picture file. I think the best thing to do is type the descriptions in order of appearance, 1,2,3 etc. then post the photo files in the same order so you will have numbered descriptions and beneath the models. That is just a suggestion but I think it would solve your problem when multi-posting.

Thanks Ringbolt/Tony, I do'nt usually have a problem with storage of models, most of these hang from the garage ceiling until being flown/crashed! I did at one time build a lot of staic display models, luckily the house we lived in back then was much bigger so it was'nt too much of a problem. They do have to be cased though. It's amazing the damage that can be inflicted by an errant duster! Re the pictures, I did'nt add any descriptions, they are the 'img' bit under the photo that you click on to copy and paste. [IMG ] see how the picture has covered over the wording.

Hi Jeff, first thing I must complement you on your models, they look excellent, are all the aircraft models radio-controlled? Regarding the posting of the pictures, I have never come across the overwritten code such as in your post. Do you use the bottom code in the group, I have always found this one to be the best and it never posts the code with the photo. Keep up the good work. Ed

Jeff saw a program called collectors where a bloke had a lot of model planes that he flies and he used racks to hang them on the walls of his shed. It seemed a great idea as they looked like they where in a safe position. I am sure that you have already contemplated this but thought that I would mention in passing

Thanks Ed, It seems to reproduce some pictures, but dos'nt with others, only shows the code! Strange, maybe there someone on 'photobucket' that I can ask. In answer to your question, yes they are all radio control, exept for the ship which is purely decorative.
Thanks for the tip Ringbolt, the idea had'nt occured to me. They say the simplest ideas are the best. I will try and implement it. Got to be safer than hanging from the shed roof!

I have just uploaded this by right clicking on your photo and saving it to MyPhotos, I then uploaded it to PhotoBucket using the old uploader not the new multi-picture uploader. When uploaded I double clicked on the picture and waited until it opened in a larger size, then moved down the page to the codes and clicked on the IMG Code.
