For the past couple of days I have had a problem scrolling pages on my computer, whether using the scroll bar at the side of the page or scroll wheel on the mouse the pages have moved up and down with a jerk. It was really a pain because sometime the page would jump about a third of a page, anyway today I loaded a new graphics driver NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT and the problem is gone.
Initially I tried many things but it was the Graphics Driver that was the problem, remember that for the future, you never know that bit of knowledge may come in handy one day?

If anyone should ever need to test their graphics then dxdiag can help.

For windows XP, click Start then run and type dxdiag and press enter.

For Vista press ctrl+alt+delete and select task manager, click new task, type dxdiag and press enter.

First, click on display or display 1 if you have 2 showing.
Check what make the drivers are, if it says Microsoft then you are not using the correct driver.
If any of the buttons are grayed out then you are not using the correct driver too.
You can click on the Test DirectDraw and Test Direct3D buttons should you wish to complete the tests. :)
