Hi just a bit of information I found while tracing an Irish family "Nelson" from Co Cown , going to NZ 1871~1872.
A ploughman aged 23; with Anna Nelson aged 25, a general servant & James Nelson aged 22 also a ploughman, arrived in Lyttelton, New Zealand on board 'Charlotte Gladstone ' (1304 tons) 2 Feb 1872; left London 5 Nov 1871 under Capt. James Fox.
